Captain Reinhardt doesn’t like to think about his past. That’s why he spends all his time sailing the Desert Channel, scavenging for coveted solar technology known as Suntech. But when news comes that the daughter he thought was dead is not only alive, but being held ransom, he must come face to face with the realities of his past and the secret shapeshifting abilities that make him an outcast even among his crew. Now he must drop everything to chase after the urban legend known as the Sunshaper to get back his lost daughter, and choose between a newfound family of strays and his own blood.

About the Author

I spent most of my time growing up in Colorado in imaginary worlds, whether those of books or video games. I was hooked on writing after a project in the first grade, and I haven’t stopped since. I graduated with a BA in English (and a BS in Business Administration), and won my university’s Senior Poetry Award, so I’m used to saying a lot in few words.

I'm a web developer by day, living in Austin, TX with my wife, son, and twins on the way. One of my main projects is with the TTRPG boxed text provider dScryb, who I also regularly write content for. You can easily search for samples of my scenes using their search!
